    DISCUSSION:
The Spirella company was founded in 1904, making a high-quality corset that was only sold door to door. The company itself was, like Hershey and some other companies of the day, very paternalistic towards employees, endeavoring to give them a pleasant working environment and help them better their lives. The magazine is very positive and friendly, and begins with the essay, “Let’s All Be More Human”. It contains much about living well and being happy, and not a lot about corsets.
Booklet. 6”x9”, 23 pages, black & white illustrations. Minor soil, light wear.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OVERSEAS BUYERS, PLEASE NOTE:
SHIPPING: To comply with Ebay’s policies, all packages are shipped using recorded/trackable methods and you should check the postage quotes before completing a purchase. Our International shipping charges are based on the weight, when packed, of each package -we offer “combined shipping charges” for orders for more than one item –this often means the shipping cost for the items is less than it would have been if they had been purchased and shipped one at a time, so please ask us for a shipping quote if you are thinking about buying more than one item. Thanks!
CUSTOMS CHARGES: Your post office may impose a customs charge on your incoming package, we have no control over this and no information about it, please check with your post office for more information. It is against U.S. law and Ebay rules for us to lie on the customs form about the value of packages, please do not ask us to do this.
